- Children and Youth Development Program
Under the "Nurturing Tomorrow's Leaders" Initiative, this flagship program addresses the holistic development of children and youth through integrated interventions. Educational Support Services include the "Bridge to Success" scholarship program, which has supported 2,847 vulnerable children since 2016, after-school tutoring programs in 15 primary schools across six counties, construction and renovation of 8 classroom blocks in remote areas, and provision of learning materials and school uniforms to over 5,200 children. Youth Empowerment Projects feature the "Skills for Life" vocational training program offering courses in carpentry, tailoring, mechanics, and computer literacy, annual youth leadership academies training over 450 young leaders, sports and talent development programs engaging over 3,000 youth, and youth-led community service initiatives. A Case Study - Transforming Lives Through Education highlights Grace Akinyi, a 16-year-old orphan from Homabay County, who, through St. Martin CBO's scholarship program, completed her primary education with high marks, gaining admission to a top secondary school, and now serves as a peer mentor.
