Partnerships & Collaborations

St. Martin CBO maintains extensive partnerships and collaborations to amplify its impact. International Partners include Rotary International, collaborating on child protection and education programs; World Vision, involved in joint programming on girls' education and women's empowerment; Bread for the World, supporting food security and agricultural development initiatives; and Lutheran World Federation, partnering on faith-based programming and emergency response. Government Partnerships are strong, with the Ministry of Education collaborating on early childhood development and adult literacy programs; the Ministry of Health partnering on community health programming and immunization campaigns; the Ministry of Agriculture jointly implementing climate-smart agriculture and extension services; County Governments working on integrated development planning and resource mobilization; and the Kenya Red Cross Society coordinating emergency response and disaster risk reduction. Local Partnerships involve the Catholic Diocese of Homabay, working closely with all churches under its jurisdiction; a Faith-Based Organizations Network coordinating with 45 churches and religious institutions; Community-Based Organizations, with strategic alliances with 28 local CBOs for program complementarity; a Schools Partnership Network, involving direct collaboration with 67 primary and secondary schools; Health Facilities Collaboration, maintaining working relationships with 23 health centers and dispensaries; and Financial Institutions, partnering with 8 Sacco's and microfinance institutions. Additionally, Academic and Research Partnerships include Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology(JOOUST) for research collaboration on community development outcomes, Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) for health research and evidence-based programming, and the International Centre for Research on Women for gender and women's empowerment studies.

St. Martin Community-Based Organization (CBO) is a dynamic faith-based community development agency established to transform lives and communities across western Kenya. Founded on Christian principles of love, compassion, and service, the organization has been at the forefront of empowering vulnerable populations, particularly children, youth, and women, in Homabay, Kisumu, Migori, Siaya, Kisii, and Nyamira Counties.
